Most Famous Indians in the world

Whichever country we go in the world, we see a large number of people having the Indian roots. Most of them migrated to these countries themselves while others were born of Indian parents. Wherever Indians are, they have been outperforming every one and have been proving themselves. Here is a list of Non-resident Indians that have made us proud.

1)Salman Rushdie:

Salman Rushdie is best known for his contributions to English literature. He later migrated to the UK. His book, The satanic verses has become quite controversial. His other work, midnight`s children, won the Booker prize in 1981.

2)Sabeer Bhatia:

Sabeer, an Indian-American entrepreneur, was born in Chandigarh. He is the founder of Hotmail and he sold it to Microsoft for $400 million in 1997.

3)Laxmi Mittal:

He is the chairman and CEO of Arcelor Mittal, the largest steel making company in the world. He was the richest man of Asian descent in the UK in 2007.

4)Indra Nooyi:

She was born in Chennai and now is the chairperson and CEO of PepsiCo, the second largest food and beverages In the world. The company`s annual revenue rose to 72 Percent since she became CFO in 2000.

5)Rajeev Suri:

Rajeev, born in Delhi, is an Indian-Singaporean business executive and the CEO of Nokia. He is a citizen of Singapore, residing in Finland and is based in London.

Apart from these, there are many people like Sunita Williams, Satya nadella, Kalpana Chawla etc.,.Their fields are different but they all made us proud by excelling in their respective fields.
