Triambakeshwar jyotirling is located in Nashik, Maharashtra. It lies between three hills Brahmagiri, Neelgiri and Kalagiri.
The jyotirlinga in Triambakeshwar has 3 faces symbolizing Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Due to excessive use of water, the shivling was corroded which symbolizes that the human mind and society is corroding.
The Shivlings are covered by a crown full of diamonds, emeralds and many other precious stones. This crown is kept open for public on every Monday,4PM-5PM.
Three sources of Godavari river are born at this place. Another interesting fact about this temple is that while all other jyotirlingas have only Shiva as the main deity, this temple has Vishnu and Brahma in addition.
The sculpture of this temple is amazing and as this place is near Shirdi, the major pilgrimage site for all the devotees of Saibaba, all the people visiting Shirdi make sure that they are also visiting this place.
